Administrator/Receptionist
Jennifer
Greetings! Jennifer is passionate about providing each individual with high-quality customer service. As one of the receptionists at Floss, she loves the interaction of greeting new and familiar faces. She works hard to accommodate patients’ needs, helping patients with insurance, billing, and answering any questions to make sure the financial part of treatment is as smooth as possible and with no surprises.
Recently residing in the Bow Valley area, Jen has been pleasantly welcomed and quickly made to feel like this is the place to be. Originally from Calgary, she brings with her a background in dentistry as a registered dental assistant. She has further knowledge and skills in general dentistry, teeth whitening, health standards, and upholds the highest standard of care and ethics. Her goal is to continue striving for professional, courteous and efficient service.
Jen keeps herself active by seeking adventure in the great outdoors and creating
memories with family and friends. She enjoys the sunshine, swimming, painting and refurbishing. Currently, she has taken an interest in learning to play the piano, speaking Spanish and practicing yoga. She’s grateful to be welcomed, inspired and supported here at Floss and looks forward to settling down and becoming familiar to all the smiling faces.
Dental Hygienist
Julie
Julie absolutely loves what she does, and you will most definitely see that when you’re in the chair with her! She is an advocate of preventive and patient-focused care which is catered to individual needs. It gives her a chance to change lives and bring people back to their best, healthy selves. She is proud to be sharing this passion with you, your family, and your friends! Her goal as a Registered Dental Hygienist is to always provide exceptional patient-focused care and education so that your mouth stays healthy not only today but for years to come.
As a firm believer in lifelong learning, she takes an extensive amount of continuing education and training. She is passionate about giving back to the community and looking forward to your care!
Since moving to the Bow Valley, Banff it has quickly become a place for her to call home. She originally grew up in Winnipeg, but has also lived in Toronto, WhiteHorse, and Calgary. Throughout her travels, she’s found that it’s the people and community that make a place feel like home – the familiar faces and familiar smiles.
In her spare time, she loves to explore and immerse herself in this beautiful Park many of us call home. Through hiking, biking, and skiing, you can always expect to find her outdoors with her husband and two daughters during her time away from the clinic.
Anastasiya Sivkova
After seeing there was a gap and need for a denture service, Anastasiya is excited to have the opportunity to provide and serve Banff and the Bow Valley. She believe that having a full smile and the basic ability to chew food is an essential human right. Her practice philosophy is of compassion and inclusivity while providing the best care possible to all that need it.
Anastasiya’s experience began in the dental profession industry when she was sixteen, starting as a Dental Assistant while studying biology at the University of Toronto. I then started towards my passion and pursued a career as a Denturist. While working as a Dental Technician and a Denturist at Prosthodontics Associates, she was under the guidance of Dr. Izchak Barzilay. This is where she honed her laboratory and clinical skills in an environment of constant expectation of excellence. Anastasiya is proud to be a co-founder of Phoenix Smiles, a Toronto-based service that provides dentures to women in domestic situations. She was also privileged with the opportunity to volunteer in Uganda with Bridge to Health, where her and her team supplied dentures in distant villages.
